The views on this site are shared by millions of Americans and put together by only a few. Who we are doesn’t matter, this web site's mission is to show how we arrive at our ever evolving views.

Webmaster's note: I received a huge tax cut (courtesy of your grandchildren) and don't want any more of your money:

However, if you appreciate this web site, please consider a donation to the New York Foundling Hospital.

Personal note: My mother used to make me give a dollar of my allowance to the Foundling every time we walked by. We're talking candy money - darn it - and the hospital was only a few blocks from our apartment in NYC. To make a long story short - I've gotten over my resentment and currently sit on the Board.

Reductions in Title IV (E) funding for Foster Family assistance (a small amount to each family that fosters a child), Children's Hospitals, and, yes, even Orphanages has hit the Foundling hard. I don't like a lot of our Government's spending - but orphans?  As a Board Member (all unpaid), I can say that we squeeze every cent out of every dollar - no massive bureaucracy here.

My first appeal is to ask your kids to give a dollar to the Foundling or a local Children's Hospital - who knows they may be a future Board member.

My second appeal is for your support. If you care to make a donation - please use the New York Foundling Hospital's web site or send a check to:
